 NCPC boss empathizes Pastor Oyakhilome over church fire incident EMPATHY: The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State has empathised to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Founder and President of Love World Church (Christ Embassy), following a fire incident that ravaged the church headquarters in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State, last Sunday. Bishop Adegbite described the incident as unfortunate and urged Pastor Oyakhilome not to be deterred.  He acknowledged the destruction of valuable assets but expressed faith in God's provision and restoration.  He encouraged Pastor Oyakhilome to take solace in the fact that no lives were lost and urged the congregants to remain calm, committed, and focused on their service to God. NCPC boss condoles Vice President over mother-in-law's death CONDOLE:   The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has extended his condolences to Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima on the death of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Maryam Abubakar-Ablbishir. In a personal letter to the Vice President, Bishop Adegbite expressed his sympathy and that of the NCPC to the entire family, particularly the Vice President's wife, Her Excellency, Hajia Nana Shettima. He acknowledged the grief that comes with losing a loved one, even at an advanced age. Bishop Adegbite celebrated the late Mrs. Abubakar-Ablbishir's exemplary character, devotion to her faith, and her unwavering support for her family.   NATOP holds AGM July, to market destination Kwara’s to the world By Wale Olapade DESTINATION The Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) has promised its determination to use its influence as destination marketers to showcase the tourism attractions in Kwara Stae to the world during its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM). Mrs Ime Udo, National President of NATOP, who disclosed this during a virtual media briefing in Lagos on Friday, said the AGM had been slated to hold from July 17 to July 20 in Ilorin, Kwara. Udo said the essence of marketing the sites was to attract local and international tourists to the state and most especially, the ancient city of Ilorin.
