We’re simplifying visa processes, connecting Nigeria travel agents to tourism board globally—Ayodeji, Principal Executive, Flyzone Tourism
TRAVELINNOVATION: IN its determination to revolutionise travel businesses inNigeria, Flyzone Tourism has strategically explore avenu to streamlining visa processes and connecting Nigerian travel agents with global tourism boards.
The
Principal Executive of Flyzone Tourism, Mr Awomoyi Ayodeji, who disclosed this in an interview at the
sideline of Akwaaba African Travel Market held in Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos
attributed the company’s success to its extensive network and relationships
with tourism boards worldwide.
According
to Ayodeji “Flyzone Tourism, established in 2018, leverages its extensive
network and relationships with tourism boards worldwide to simplify visa
applications for Nigerian travel agents. With over 8,900 agents in its
database, Flyzone has expanded its services to Kenya and Dubai through
franchise partnerships.
“We
also streamlined visa processes for destinations like Rome and collaboration
with governments.
“We
are also working with governments now. We want to start working with
governments in the long-run. We’re in Enugu together. Another person took me to
Kano. And it’s still about the visas. Because if you don’t stay in your niche,
what you have known for years, it’s hard to build trust.
“We
have a high level of trust and honesty in Flyzone Tourism. We will not tell you
what we cannot do. That’s why we don’t do everything.
On
Akwaaba African Travel Market and the impact on Flyzone, Mr Ayodeji explained
“The first thing is that there is no business without connections. By
connections, I mean meeting people one-on-one. You can have a product, but if
people don’t know about it, then it won’t go anywhere. That’s why I used to say
that even a poorly marketed bad product will sell more than a well-made but poorly
marketed good product.
“So,
Akwaaba has helped travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and tour operators to
connect with each other. People might not know about all these airlines and
hotels, but because they are here, they get to know each other.
“Akwaaba
is a platform that brings different tourism brands, embassies, tour operators,
and travel agents together.
Ayo
praised Akwaaba’s role in fostering industry connections. “Akwaaba brings
tourism brands, embassies, tour operators, and travel agents together, creating
growth opportunities.”
Speaking
on his award, Ayodeji said he was just Inducted as an Ambassador by the ECOWAS
Youth Council recently.
According to him “This is connected to my laudable antecedents of dedication and diligence in the area of service to humanity and commendable works as an advocate and relentless crusader of promoting development of the African youth.
