  NCPC Boss, Bishop Adegbite Congratulates President Tinubu, Nigeria @ 64 By Wale Olapade ANNIVERSARY:  The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria for its 64th independence anniversary celebration. The NCPC boss affirmed that "it is a great privilege to be part of history as Nigeria marks her 64th independence anniversary, having got her independence on October 1st, 1960." He urged President Bola Tinubu and his team to ensure that "the labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain." He added that "though tongue and tribe may differ, but we shall remain united as one entity called Nigeria." NCPC boss, consoles Gov Eno over wife’s demise SYMPATHY: The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on the sudden demise of his wife, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs Patience Umo Eno, who passed on to eternal glory on September 26, 2024, after a brief illness. In the words of the NCPC boss, "I am saddened with the news of the death of our dear First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, especially because she died at a time her services are most needed in advancing the cause of women, children, and mankind." NCPC empathizes with Vice President Shettima, gov Zulum, Borno people over flood incident SYMPATHY:  The Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has on behalf the Chairman of the commission, Professor Msgn Cletus Gotan and Board members emphatised with the Vice President Kassim Shettima, the governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Zulum and the good people of the state over the recent flood incident that ravaged Maiduguri and environs. Adegbite said the flood incident is most unfortunate and regrettable considering the fact that such uncanny disaster has not occurred for over three decades.
