NCPC boss, consoles Gov Eno over wife’s demise
SYMPATHY:The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on the sudden demise of his wife, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs Patience Umo Eno, who passed on to eternal glory on September 26, 2024, after a brief illness.
In
the words of the NCPC boss, "I am saddened with the news of the death of
our dear First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, especially because she died at a time
her services are most needed in advancing the cause of women, children, and
mankind."
Bishop
Adegbite urged the Governor of Akwa Ibom, Pastor Umo Eno, to take solace in
God, adding, "It is not how long but how well we live on earth that
matters." According to him, "Mrs Patience Umo Eno has played her part
while on earth and she will forever be remembered for her selfless service to
God and humanity."
He
described her untimely demise as a monumental loss to the family and the entire
state. Bishop Adegbite further affirmed that "no one can question the
decision of God in anything; He alone knows the end from the beginning."
He
prayed that the Good Lord will grant the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State,
his immediate family, and the entire Akwa Ibomites the fortitude to bear this
irreplaceable loss. He also prayed that her gentle soul should rest in peace in
the bosom of the Lord.
