NCPC boss felicitates Vice President Shettima @ 58

CELEBRATION: The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has felicitated with the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Kasim Shettima, on his 58th birthday.


Bishop Adegbite extolled the virtues of Vice President Shettima, describing him as a detribalised Nigerian, who has contributed significantly to the success of the "Renewed Hope Agenda" of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration. 

He praised the Vice President's exceptional leadership qualities, wealth of experience, and distinguished service as a two-time governor of Borno State and Senator of the Federal Republic.

The NCPC boss noted that at 58, the country needs Vice President Shettima's services more than ever, considering his pivotal role as a bridge builder and indefatigable leader. He also commended the Vice President's commitment to interfaith harmony and peaceful coexistence among faith-based groups in the country.

Bishop Adegbite stated, "As you celebrate your birthday today, I assure you that the Nigerian people are celebrating with you, as well as the entire NCPC management and staff. We are proud to identify with you on this auspicious day of your life."

He prayed for Vice President Shettima's continued good health and prosperity, enabling him to complete his national assignment successfully.

NCPC to explore holy sites in Turkey BY WALE OLAPADE PILGRIMAGE:  The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has announced the commissions bid to explore holy sites in Turkey. Adegbite disclosed this on October 8, 2024, while playing host to a Turkish delegation from Turquaz Group and Afrosum Faith Tourism in Abuja. The place of Turkey in the history of the church is very vital, explaining that Turkey takes about 60 percent of the Old Testament events in the Bible. Turkey is significant in pilgrimage; it makes Bible real."
